Why can't "Text column with images" have the option to add a second button?

We need to add multiple product collections to this “Text column with images” module. Each collection requires multiple buttons to link to men's products, women's products, and so on. Every template upgrade lacks this functionality, forcing us to repeatedly contact the template developers to ask if they can help add it. This is extremely frustrating. When will we no longer have to reach out to the developers for this?
